This is winter in Queensland!! . On the Charlotte Plains Station back in 1892, they sunk a bore 561m into the Great Artesian Basin. Now, a network of bore drains distribute the artesian water over more than 180km across the property, providing water for the animals, and for us to play in! . The water comes out warm and is full of minerals which are apparently full of wondrous health benefits, but really it was just a lovely place to soak! . And we could camp in our van, right by the water!
