We’re thrilled to have Clare Cowley return to perform at the Bore Campsite from 1-12 May, 2027. 

Velvety vocalist & Meanjin based musician, Clare Cowley, charmed listeners with country blues vinyl album, Desire Notes in 2023. Clare grew up with singalongs around the piano in her hometown of Allora. With songs that evoke the likes of Sarah Blasko, Clare was a Highly Commended Artist at the Queensland Music Awards 2024.

Touring her music around Australia, Clare has supported the likes of Neil Murray. The new ‘Rock & Druins’ EP is another self-illustrated expression of wonder that anticipates Clare’s 3rd full length album ‘Handwritten Letter’ to be released in 2026.

Community Event – Anzac Day Dawn Service 2027

You’re invited to our ANZAC Day Dawn Service at Charlotte Plains — a special community event as we gather to honour and remember 🌺 

We’ll gather around a warm fire as the sun rises for a Dawn Service. Join us for a time of remembrance, followed by a cuppa and an ANZAC biscuit. Live music by Drew Blundell.

Come for the service, or stay for the weekend – campsite bookings must be made prior to arrival.

Golden Guitar winners Wendy Phypers and Dave Patterson return to Charlotte Plains with their signature country, western swing, and bluegrass on 13-26 May 2027 at the Bore Campsite.

With five studio albums under their belt, including their self-titled release recorded in Victoria and Nashville, The Cartwheels are known for Wendy’s incredible vocals and heartfelt originals. Their latest single Who Careshas topped Australian country charts, celebrating love, life, and family. Performing since the early ’90s with bands like The Sparnetts and The Happening Thang, Wendy and Dave continue to delight audiences nationwide with their timeless country sound.

Damien J. Johnson will be returning to perform at the Bore Campsite from 27 – 31 March 2027.

Damien is an Ipswich-based Country/Folk/Blues artist whose music blends heartfelt storytelling with a deep connection to regional Australian life.

His 2025 singles “One Hill Town” and “This House” both reached the Australian Top 40 Country Charts.

Damien has shared the stage with Australian music icons James Blundell, Daryl Braithwaite, and David McCormack (Custard), and has been featured on ABC Country and ABC Local Radio.

In 2025 Damien J. Johnson was a Grand-Finalist in the Australian Country Music Stars competition, and most recently was selected as the main support act for iconic Scottish band, Big Country, on their Greatest Hits tour.

Beyond his musical achievements, Damien J. Johnson is a passionate advocate for the local arts scene and has received national recognition via ABC for his role in promoting local, live music.

His commitment to community is evident in his active participation in events like the SPARK Festival and his support for local venues and artists.

Darren Griffis is bringing his bourbon soaked blues rock to the Bore Campsite at Charlotte Plains on 1-5 July.

Darren Griffis, is a road hardened, seasoned musician with a career spanning over decades. He formed JUKEJOINT in 2021 to showcase his original songs and the band has since gained a reputation for delivering high-energy performances across Australia, from Brisbane to Betoota and beyond. Darren’s music is described as “bourbon soaked blues rock” and draws inspiration from classic rock acts like ZZ Top, Black Crowes, and Rolling Stones.

In 2026, Darren Griffis is expanding his musical horizons by embarking on solo acoustic performances around Australia and New Zealand, while continuing to play with JUKEJOINT. This move demonstrates Darren’s versatility as a performer and his commitment to connecting with audiences in different formats. Whether fronting JUKEJOINT or stripped back solo, his performances are raw, honest and forged on the road.
