We have hot baths, campfires, bike track, ice-cream, farm animals, audio tours, and more! Enjoy a great line-up of live music and the AFL grand final, accompanied by our licensed bar.
NB. The school holidays do get busy at Charlotte Plains – if you’re after a more peaceful stay, please set up camp further away from the main areas of the Bore Campsite or plan to visit outside of school holidays. Thank you!

Noorama Picnic Races
2 April, 2022 @ 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Gates open at 12:00pm, first race at 1:30pm.
$20 admission (pay at the gate or online), includes race book. Children are free.
- 5 race program with $56,000 in prize money
- On course bookmakers, skyTV and Noorama Cup Calcutta
- Fashions on the field with over $3000 in prizes (be there by 3pm)
- Canteen all day
- Live band entertainment in the evening and bar until late
- No eftpos or fuel at the track

Book with Charlotte Plains
Depending on interest, Charlotte Plains will lead the convoy of vehicles through the backroads to the races about 80km to the South (1 hour). A tour guide will leave the property at 11.30am and return at the conclusion of the races.
Also, depending on interest – Bessie the Charlotte Plains bus, may be on offer as a paid service to transfer people.
This is a fantastic day out and a great way to see a bit of the bush at its best!
