Can I bring my dog?
Yes, Charlotte Plains is dog-friendly! Dogs are welcome, provided they are well-behaved, and any mess they make is promptly cleaned up. Please note, there is to be NO chasing of animals. See below for area-specific dog permissions.
BORE CAMPSITE
Dogs are permitted at the Bore Campsite. Dogs are NOT allowed in bath tubs or in the main area of the Bore Drain (you may take them further down the drain). If within common areas of the Bore, dogs must be on leash. If you are on a bush walk, they may come off leash. See map below.
SHEARER’S CAMPSITE
Dogs are permitted at the Shearer’s Campsite. They must be kept on a leash at all times. If you’re on a bush walk, away from the main area and livestock, they may come off leash.
SHEARER’S QUARTERS
Pets are not permitted inside the rooms of the Shearer’s Quarters, with the exception of our two designated pet-friendly rooms. A ‘Pet Cleaning’ fee of $15 applies for these rooms. Pets must sleep on a pet bed or on the floor, and are not permitted on the beds. If you wish to bring your pet, you must email stay@charlotteplains.com.au ahead of time to make arrangements. Under no circumstances are pets permitted in other rooms or in the shared communal areas. Pets are welcome on the deck, but must be on leash at all times. Please ensure that pets are well-behaved and any mess they make is promptly cleaned up.
MERINO CABIN
Pets are not permitted inside the unit but are welcome on the deck or can be tied up nearby on a leash.
