SUMMARY:Live Music - Darren Griffis
DESCRIPTION:Darren Griffis is bringing his bourbon soaked blues rock back to the Bore Campsite at Charlotte Plains on 8-21 October 2026. \n\n\n\nDarren Griffis\, is a road hardened\, seasoned musician with a career spanning over decades. He formed JUKEJOINT in 2021 to showcase his original songs and the band has since gained a reputation for delivering high-energy performances across Australia\, from Brisbane to Betoota and beyond. Darren’s music is described as “bourbon soaked blues rock” and draws inspiration from classic rock acts like ZZ Top\, Black Crowes\, and Rolling Stones. \n\n\n\nIn 2026\, Darren Griffis is expanding his musical horizons by embarking on solo acoustic performances around Australia and New Zealand\, while continuing to play with JUKEJOINT. This move demonstrates Darren’s versatility as a performer and his commitment to connecting with audiences in different formats. Whether fronting JUKEJOINT or stripped back solo\, his performances are raw\, honest and forged on the road.  \n\n\n\nAs Darren Griffis continues to evolve as an artist in 2026\, he remains true to his authentic and passionate approach to music-making. His dedication to live performances\, both with JUKEJOINT and as a solo act\, showcases his commitment to delivering genuine musical experiences in an era often dominated by fleeting fame and short attention spans. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLive music and events are a special part of the Charlotte Plains experience\, bringing guests together to enjoy the atmosphere of the outback in a truly memorable setting.  \n\n\n\nFrom relaxed live music at the Bore Campsite to seasonal gatherings\, special event weekends and our signature festival experiences\, Charlotte Plains offers a unique mix of music\, connection\, station life and wide-open skies.
