The Kooma and Kunja peoples have long been associated with this Country. Cunnamulla takes its name from the Kunja language and is understood to mean “long stretch of water” or “big waterhole”\, reflecting the enduring importance of water and landscape to local communities. \n\n\n\n\nWhen is check in and check out?\nAll guests will be required to check in upon arrival. \n\n\n\nCheck-In: From 12pm | Thursday 24th June 2027 (3-Day Pass) OR Friday 25th June 2027 (2-Day Pass) (unless you have booked to stay with us prior) \n\n\n\nCheck-Out: Before 12pm | Sunday 27th June 2027 (unless you have booked to stay with us longer) \n\n\n\n\nDoes our ticket include a campsite?\nYour festival pass includes an unpowered site at the Bore Campsite (so there is no need to book a campsite across the festival dates). \n\n\n\n3-Day Passes include a site for Thursday 24\, Friday 25\, and Saturday 26 June 2027. \n\n\n\n2-Day Passes include a site for Friday 25 and Saturday 26 June 2027. \n\n\n\n\nCan we book a campsite before/after the festival?\nYou certainly can! \n\n\n\nYour festival ticket includes an unpowered site at the Bore Campsite\, so you only need to book for the nights before and/or after the festival. \n\n\n\nPlease follow the instructions below: \n\n\n\n1/ Once tickets are on sale\, click here to book > Select Stars of Charlotte Plains 2027. \n\n\n\n2/ Click Book Now > Select a 3-Day or 2-Day Pass from the dropdown > Click continue. \n\n\n\n3/ Click the green + Add to Booking button on the top left > Select Campsites. \n\n\n\n4/ Click Book Now on the Bore Campsite > Enter the desired dates before or after the festival > Enter the number of adults/children/under 5’s > Click continue. \n\n\n\nIf you want to add nights both before and after the festival dates\, you will need to repeat steps 3-4. \n\n\n\n5/ Enter your contact information and follow the prompts to complete your booking. \n\n\n\n\nWhere can we set up?\nYour ticket includes an unpowered campsite at the Bore Campsite. With plenty of space available\, sites are not pre-allocated\, so you can choose to camp near the Bore Head or further down the Bore Drain for a quieter\, more peaceful experience. \n\n\n\nIf you are travelling as part of a group\, we recommend arriving together as it may be difficult to save spots for late arrivals. \n\n\n\nIMPORTANT: You must not camp within 20m of the Bore. You will be asked to move if you set up camp within this parameter. \n\n\n\n\nWhat amenities are available?\nGuests have access to Charlotte Plains’ famous hot artesian baths and large bore pool\, along with flushing toilets/portaloos\, urinals and long-drops\, and limited shower facilities. \n\n\n\nDue to the number of festival-goers\, we encourage guests to use their own caravan or portable camp shower amenities where possible. Otherwise\, a dip in the bore or public bath tubs will usually suffice! \n\n\n\nShared laundry facilities are located elsewhere on the property\, approximately 8.5 km from the main festival area\, and are reserved for emergency use during the festival. \n\n\n\n\nIs there WiFi or phone reception?\nThere is NO 3G\, 4G\, or 5G phone reception. \n\n\n\nYou have access to 10 mins of free usage. You can only use in one sitting. Once that is over\, you can then pay $10 which gives you 5GB. \n\n\n\n\nIs there power\, or can I have a generator?\nThere is no power available for campers at the festival site\, so guests should come prepared to be self-sufficient for their power needs. \n\n\n\nWhilst generators are permitted between 8am and 8pm\, we strongly encourage guests to only use them when necessary. Please keep generator use to a minimum so everyone can enjoy the outback atmosphere. \n\n\n\nTIP: Use solar\, battery packs\, or other low-noise power options instead. \n\n\n\n\nWhat are the property roads like?\nThere is 4KM of unsealed\, good dirt road coming off the bitumen highway at the Creek Road (Widgeegoarra) entrance to the Bore Campsite. \n\n\n\nAll roads are perfectly suitable for 2 wheel drive vehicles\, as long as there hasn’t been any recent heavy rain. Roads are flat and generally in good condition. \n\n\n\n\nDo I need to book the hot artesian baths?\nNo bookings are required for our hot artesian baths. The Bore and Baths are available for guest use throughout the festival. \n\n\n\nPlease be considerate to other guests\, wishing to have a bath. Due to the mineral content of the water and the 42°C temperature\, it is recommended to only stay in the tubs/water for 20 minutes. \n\n\n\n\nCan we have a campfire at our campsite?\nAbsolutely! Campfires are part of the Charlotte Plains experience. \n\n\n\nFirewood can be collected from any fallen trees or deadwood around the property. Please don’t cut down trees or take wood from the main festival area.  \n\n\n\nPlease use fire bins/pits where possible\, keep fires to a moderate size\, and make sure they’re positioned a safe distance from vehicles\, caravans\, trailers and tents.  \n\n\n\nBefore leaving your fire\, make sure it is fully doused with water and never bury it. By having a campfire\, you agree to dispose of your own ash in the designated areas around the campsite. We provide wheelbarrows and shovels to make this easy. We appreciate everyone doing their part to keep our campground safe and tidy! \n\n\n\n\nIs there water available onsite?\nYes\, there is Artesian water with taps at the shed\, toilet block and a separate washing up area. It is suitable to drink and can be potted to use for your caravan or campsite. However\, please bring water bottles\, if you don’t like the taste. \n\n\n\n\nIs there food available onsite?\nYes! Our fantastic food vendors will have breakfast\, lunch\, and dinner items available for purchase. Alternatively\, please ensure you bring adequate food to Charlotte Plains for the duration of the festival. \n\n\n\n\nIs there waste disposal onsite?\nBlack-water: Please be aware that there are NO black-water dump points on-site at Charlotte Plains. The nearest dump points are located in Cunnamulla or Bollon. DO NOT dump black-water waste in long-drops\, toilets or surrounding shrubbery. \n\n\n\nGrey-water: You are welcome to dump your grey water anywhere that is NOT a communal area. \n\n\n\nA $200 fee will be applied to your account if you are caught dumping waste incorrectly. \n\n\n\n\nWhat if there is poor weather?\nPlease refer to our Payments\, Cancellations\, and Refund Policy. \n\n\n\nTicket Buyers are encouraged to come prepared for all weather\, including bringing ponchos and wearing appropriate footwear. \n\n\n\n\nAre dogs permitted at the festival?\nWhile we understand that some guests may be travelling with their dogs\, we don’t actively encourage bringing them to the festival due to the busy nature of the event.  \n\n\n\nDogs may be brought along at your discretion\, however please note they are not permitted in the main festival area (assistance animals excepted – valid proof required). \n\n\n\nAny dogs on site must be well-behaved\, able to cope with loud noises\, and comfortable being left alone at your campsite.  \n\n\n\n\nIs Stars of Charlotte Plains an inclusive and accessible event?\nYes. Stars of Charlotte Plains is a welcoming\, family-friendly event and we aim to make the festival as inclusive and accessible as possible for all guests. \n\n\n\nAs an outback event held on a working station\, the festival site is predominantly flat but includes natural dirt\, grass and gravel surfaces\, so accessibility can vary depending on individual needs and weather conditions. Accessible parking and camping areas closer to key facilities can be arranged on request\, and our team can assist with transport around the site where practical. \n\n\n\nThe festival also includes shaded areas\, seating\, quieter spaces away from the main entertainment area\, and food vendors offering a range of dietary options. If you have specific accessibility\, mobility\, sensory or other requirements\, we encourage you to contact us before your visit so we can discuss how we can best support you. \n\n\n\nFor more detailed information about accessibility at Charlotte Plains\, please view our Accessibility Guide. \n\n\n\n\n\nGallery\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nImages by Allie Lee\, Aaron Kibble\, Savannah Black
